Get Accredited

We can help Get You Accredited
All employers who are wishing to employ an overseas worker must now be accredited with immigration New Zealand. This came into force on the 4th of July, 2022.
The Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) has also been introduced to consolidate several existing visa types, streamline the work visa application process, and prevent the exploitation of migrant workers.
Once accredited, businesses will have a straightforward path to recruitment and has a one-year expiry from the date of accreditation. One of the main benefits of accreditation will be faster processing of work visas.
Sky Civil Recruitment can manage the accreditation process for employers and help avoid disruption and delays to the hiring process.

Requirements for accreditation
A business must be genuine, become an accredited employer,
and meet the following minimum requirements of New Zealand
Financially Viable
Not have a loss over the last 2 years, have a positive cash flow each month for the last 6 months and have enough capital or external investment for their business to remain viable, or have a credible 2-year plan to ensure the business remains viable
